6/24/2024: Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholars Bargaining Update—June 2024

On June 17 and June 18, Caltech's collective bargaining representatives met with the elected representatives and union staff members from the Caltech Graduate Researchers and Postdocs United (CGPU-UAW) for its second bargaining session.

The two parties reached tentative agreements on articles related to travel, grievance and arbitration, health and safety, and other administrative and union management matters. All agreed upon articles will have to be ratified once the full contract is negotiated.

The next bargaining sessions will take place in late July 2024.
